SUSTAINABLE CLOTHING READY TO CHANGE YOUR WORLD

We make sustainable clothing. With a big difference.

We put love, care and attention into everything we do and make because we believe it’s the right thing to do.

Our goal is to continue making great clothing, but make them even better.

From the fabrics we use, the people who harvest the raw materials and make them, to transportation, packaging and delivery, we’re aiming to be more sustainable at every step.

Which is why we became a certified B Corp in August 2020.

It’s tough to certify as a B Corp, and our sustainability actions are assessed every 3 years. We’re proud that we recertified in July 2024 with a score of 136.

But we’ve still got lots of work to do.

Now, every decision we make is an ethical and responsible choice that balances the needs of the people we work with, the planet and our business.

HUMAN RIGHTS

We're committed to respecting the human rights of everyone involved in making our products. So we go beyond basic social audits, to help us spot potential human rights risks across our business operations and supply chains.

THE COTTON PLEDGE

We don’t use cotton sourced from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Uyghur region. In those countries, cotton is harvested using forced labour including children, which we want no part of. We’re really committed to this, so we signed The Cotton Pledge.

OUR COTTON POLICY

Cotton fibre is one of the main raw materials used in our garments. In fact, over 50% of all our product materials rely on this fibre.

Through an effective due diligence approach to materials sourcing, which includes extensive mapping of our supply chain, we’ve identified areas of concern relating to cotton. Our cotton policy describes how we address these concerns in the cotton supply chain, and our aims relating to alternative, more sustainable cotton sources.

CHECKED FOR CHILD LABOUR

No child should have to work.

We check every supplier factory to avoid children being involved in making our products. We ensure all suppliers comply with the ETI Base Code using SEDEX, our own social audits and through our directly employed on-site colleagues, to ensure this remains the case.

We publish policies on how we will handle issues relating to potential child labour in our supply chain, which explain our step-by-step procedures in clear terms.

CHECKED FOR MODERN SLAVERY

No-one should be forced to work against their will.

We take an uncompromising approach to mitigate modern slavery and caring for the human rights of those who make our products. In fact, we go "beyond the audit" to eradicate the potential risk of modern slavery in our supply chain.

CERTIFIED B CORPORATION

We’re a Certified B Corporation. This means we’re about much more than just making a profit, so we do things that benefit the planet, people and their right to prosperity.

The B Corp movement is striving to create a global economy that uses business as a force for good, is purpose-driven and creates benefits for all stakeholders, not just a small number of shareholders.

We became a certified B Corp in August 2020, meeting the highest standard for ethical and social performance. Every colleague wants us to improve, and we’re working together to be the best business we can be.

But without our amazing colleagues and overseas suppliers, we couldn’t offer the products you love. Whether it’s fair pay, providing clean drinking water, combating period poverty or auditing our factories, we make sure those employed in our supply chains are safe and well-rewarded for the work they do.

COLLEAGUES ONSITE

You need dedicated, skilled people to check manufacturing, quality and ethical standards are met. The best way to do this is to have directly employed colleagues working onsite in the factories. So we do.

Our amazing colleagues based at our factories ensure that the people who make our garments are safe, well-rewarded and treated with respect to their human rights, and that all our garments are high quality and long-lasting.

CLEAN WATER AT HOME

60% of the Bangladesh population lack access to clean drinking water, and the infant mortality rate is 3.2%. Becoming ill from drinking contaminated water is a serious problem.

Our Clean Water At Home initiative gifts water filter machines to workers in Bangladesh. The machines are very high quality and each one can support extended families in a community.

Before we introduced this initiative, only 3% of workers had their own water filter machine at home. So far, we have provided over 730 machines and the initiative is ongoing. Providing clean water at home safeguards the health of the workers, their families and their friends.

As a result, sickness is 47% lower, doctors visits are 47% lower, and workers spend 46% less on medical costs.

Clean water has the power to transform lives, so we're proud of what's been achieved so far.

“The Making Of’s commitment to the health and wellbeing of its workers is inspiring.”

CLIMATE EMERGENCY

We believe it's only right to deal with the Climate Emergency head on.

On 20 September 2019, we signed the B Corporation Declaration of Climate Emergency. We know that there are finite natural resources available and we have only a number of years to limit a climate catastrophe.

We've taken part in Global Climate Strike events each year since 2019. Instead of striking, we spend time learning about the planet and the impact of our activities. Together, we're working out how we can become more climate conscious and carbon literate, at home and at work.

One+All is certified Carbon Neutral and has committed to achieve net zero ahead of the national 2050 target.

And because we're a B Corp, we also share the actions we take for people and the planet in our annual Impact Report

PERIOD POVERTY

To combat period poverty, we provide free sanitary products to the women in Bangladesh who make our garments. We’ve also provided training on Sexual Health Care and Reproductive Rights, with more initiatives planned in the future.

QUALITY ASSURED

Our garments go through a tough testing process to make sure they’re free from harmful substances, and comply with mechanical safety standards for children’s clothing. Peace of mind for you, schools and the kids who wear them.
